Week 41: A-RA feat. J. Breezy

This week our friend Jason joined me, while Ana & Mere were away. It was his first time doing Lunch Bunch, so I kept the number of lunches to 36. We passed out lunches all around Los Feliz, Hollywood and downtown LA.

All in all, it was a good experience with no major hiccups.

Week 40

This week our lunches included our signature burger-bun sandwich, banana, water bottle, SoyJoy bar, granola bar, and a cup of applesauce. Delicious!

Week 39

Our friends Greg and Ara helped us make the deliver the meals for Lunch Bunch this week! We were done in half the time :)

Ara assembled the meals while Greg chopped the veggies.

We had so many great snacks donated this week! Soy Joy bars, mixed nut and chocolate goodie bags, healthy veggies, etc.

Lunch Bunch - Easter Edition

Mere and I are back and just in time for the Easter edition of Lunch Bunch! We missed our friends and our assembly line.

Mere hard at work.

Mere's mom made these cute Easter egg baggies for each meal as a special treat! How thoughtful!

The contents of last week's meal. Banana, nuts, delicious sandwich, chocolate easter eggs, napkins, and water (it was in the car.)

The trip went smoothly for the most part. We were sad to hear one of our regulars was missing and his friend said she didn't know when he'd be back. Another of our regulars said she'd been sick the past couple weeks with pneumonia. Hopefully they are both okay when we check up on them tomorrow.

Week 36: Ara flying solo

This week Ana & Mere were on vacation in Scotland, so I thought I'd attempt to continue the weekly purchasing, making, and handing out of 24 lunches in Los Feliz, Hollywood and Downtown LA. Aside from a touch of anxiety I had passing out the food alone in Downtown Los Angeles, everything went surprisingly without a hitch!

A bit of sillyness

Out of focus me.

Fresh sandwich ingredients purchased day of.

Hoagies with Honey ham, Turkey, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Onions, & Honey mustard.

Sandwich, Granola Bar, Corn nuts, Banana, bag of Carrots, and a 24 ounce water bottle in these bags.

All in all, was great to experience Lunch Bunch on my own this time, and a lot easier than I anticipated.
